I have no knowledge of how the software is loaded in the control or where to get it. The original software is limited to approx 900 lines but otherwise looks usable.
Just tossing out a couple of things to research in case you want a cheaper way to get running. It is very possible the original electronics is nonfunctional or just plain junk as jalessi noted.
