ok i will check the 8pin relay on monday when i get back to work. How exactly do i check it? heres the thing - this whole problem started when a student jammed the quill up and a limit switch broke. i thought it would be a simple swap of limit switches --> BIG surprise it doesnt seem that easy. any other ideas as to why the machine keeps asking to enable axis(even after repeatedly hitting the button). could it be a bad button panel on the front of machine(ie a button thats constantly depressed).
oh and did i mention that due to construction in our school (:::read:::Stupid people throwing machine shop equipt around like dirty laundry) i no longer have a pc to connect and upload files from!! can i just take a pc with winxppro and use ezlink as previously done? |
