Well, I went to an indoor fleamarket that we have here in town, and he had a exorbitant amount of old pre-486 PC's.
I took an old desktop type case and gutted it and mounted all my drives and power supply, ect. inside.
I use the existing switches for the power to the drives in case of an emergency, it all can be switched off rather easily(its one of those huge toggle switches)
If I were you, I would look around for a place that has a bunch of these old PCs and get a case or 2 to mount everything in.
Or alternatively, you could build a case, but why do that ,when you can probably find someone around where you live ,that ahs one of those aformentioned cases and most likely get it for free.
Good luck.
What are you going to run the system with(controller wise)? |
