Are you sure that CV wasn't the problem?

That was the buggiest software I've ever seen. (First Solid Version). When I first started using CadCODE, i used to get to talk to Ned directly whenever I had a problem, and any bugs I found were promptly fixed. The problem was that not a lot of knowledgable (skilled?) people were using it at the time, so the bugs didn't turn up often. This was about 5 years ago. Not long after I had everything working good, they started getting a lot busier, and I'll agree, the support has suffered. But I haven't had a problem in about 5 years, and use it daily.
