MDF with a working area of 1400x2600 mm | |
After reading all (well, a lot...) of the threads on this forum, I started working on my design today, and I can't wait to start building!
For now, it's on the drawing board.
The idea is to create a CNC router with a working area of approximately 1400x2600 mm (yep, I'm in Europe). Using the "skateboard bearing" guide system.
I'm on a tight budget for a big router, and repeatabiltity is more important than accuracy.
Plan on using acme screws and steppermotors (640 oz/inch), haven't decided on the drivers yet, if anyone has a suggestion....
