The problem was the counterweight bars. They pulled right out, since the spindle was balanced with the counterweight. I checked the chains/pulleys, and saw no signs of damage. Tried E-stop again, and nothing moved.
I feel like dunce, but glad I didn't damage the machine. Thanks to everyone for your help. |
