WOW you are soo lucky you didnt have a catastrophic failure of the chain or sprockets!!
To stop the spindle you can hit spindle stop. Do yourself a favor and dont get into the habit of hitting estop for anything but an emergency. The slide hold feature will stop movement and estop will stop everything but with slide hold you dont need to reset the axis cards by pressing the jog button. |
