Please correct my understanding here.
With this device it allows the computer to talk faster to the stepper drivers.
So the best Mach2 can do is 45000 sps, then this will allow for nearly 3 times that speed with Desk CNC.
Am I understanding this correctly?
I guess an advantage is that you can gear down your machine more but still drive it as fast ( Given that the steppers go fast enough) This will give finer resolution without speed loss. ?? |
