@Darren: I buy drill rod in 3m lengths. I'm sure if you try someone that sell steel to the industry you can get that length or longer.
@HuFlungDung: What units do you measure current and voltage in?
I'm glad I mostly have to calculate time shorter than one second. When getting above 60 seconds, I get a feeling for how it must be to use imperial. And it's not a good feeling. But by all means stick with imperial for as long as you can. It's nice for us to be able to make things quicker.
