That is a killer design. I do have a couple of questions: Are the jets tapped and what is the black stuff oozing from around the jets? Is that the way (threaded ID jets) it is done on other VMCs with through the head coolant? I know I have watched a Mazak and have always been jealous of the way it flooded a tool with coolant (I have a TM-3 with twin flex nozzles). I can think of different ways of mounting it, but do you intend to utilize the tapped holes that the factory spindle guard mounted to? Again....killer design. |
