the documentation for the Mach setup from Syil is wrong - took me ages to find out what all the problems were (there are several). If you send me a message here off forum then I will email you back my xml file for Mach.
The e-stop takes about 5 secs to work on my machine too. You might want to see the post I just made about the things that I have encountered over the two months that I've had an x4.

PS - after posting this, it occurred to me that others might want my Mach3 config file too, so I am appending it here. Change the name to Mach3Mill.xml if you want it to be the default at startup. This one fixes the problems with charge pump and spindle startup, curve drawing, e-stop enabling, motor tuning, and a few other things I found along the way. One warning - there is still a problem getting x4 spindle speed control to work properly from Mach. See my post on my x4 experiences in this forum today for more info.
