The sticks of compound may have partially dried out while in storage. Try cutting a bit off the end of the stick to expose fresher compound. Warming the stick up before using it to load the buffing wheel may also help. You could warm the whole stick or pass the end of the stick by a propane torch flame to melt it before hitting the wheel. You may need a stiffer buffing wheel to accept the compound. |
