Depends more on the diameter of the rod, I used 2 5/8 rods for a 36 in axis and there is too much flex in it. For 96 inches you would need to have at least 3 in diameter if not more. I have a 7 ' 8" ball screw that is 1.5" roundd and it hsa some flex in it. Hope that this helps a little. |
