BigDaddyG is on a distinguished road

Senkeys,
Yes you can, but why! Unless you do not know the manufacturer of the screw that is. But the screws are made to a "Standard" and the mix and match thing should work. Truth be told, a lot of the manufacturers are using the same "Screw Machines" to manufacturer thier product as well. In addition, the more expensive, more precision screws are often times made from the same machines as the starndard or low quality screws. What you are paying for is the "Certification" of the screw thread. But from Experience, Nook has cheap nuts.

I just noticed that you wrote Nook Screws and Roton Ballnuts. If your question is can a Ballnut follower work on a Acme Screw, the answer is NO! Screws will require a nut. The Ball lead will have an entirely differend cut in order to allow the balls to follow in the "Track" provided. Ball leads and screws although the same diameter and distance traveled per rotation, have entirely different geometry around the stock.

Hope this helped. Got to go Batten down the Hatches!!!!! George is headed my way. Latest track will be right over the HOUSE!!!!!!! God I love Florida!!!

Regards,
Glen
