The machine is designed to press a series of numbers on a custom keypad, at precise times, controlled by a PC using custom test software. I have tried TurboCNC and Mach1 so far, and can make the machine work very well as designed, however, TurboCNC is out as I need to use Win XP and Mach1 has been difficult to work with so far.
Is there a simple Windows program that will control my machine using G & M codes with very little overhead? This machine will never mill, route, engrave or otherwise do anything but press a series of buttons over and over again. I will appreciate any and all information, suggestions and/or comments any of you are able to offer.
Thanks in advance,
