I've been using the assistance of a friend who owned a pattern and mold shop using SurfCam. He is very limited on time now, so I am in the process of learning as much as possible about 3d...fast.
I have a 4896 Shop Sabre CNC router table (3hp Columbo spindle) with a 12" Z for machining my own 3d patterns (for rubber molds and thermoforming). I do my own thermoforming, roto-casting and laser cutting (uls 50watt), but the 3d modeling is not my strong point due to time to learn.... So please bear with me when I ask way too many questions in the future.
