I use Rhino for this kind of modeling; you can define your curve and extrude the profile of your casing along it. ArtCam will do this also. VisualMill will allow you to machine along a curve, or within a boundary. Most Cam software has some kind of 3d contour pocketing that will machine within your boundaries, and along the curve.
