I see what I was doing wrong I did not tighten it that was only Hand tight but you caused me to look at it closer Thanks. I see what to do now and see how it works.
The collet snaps into that nut Via the oval shaped snap in ring machined into in the nut assembly. You can't have the tool in the collet and try to snap it in. you have to do it before but once it is pushed in that holds the collet inside the nut then you start threading it into the Holder and then put in the bit and tighten it up. it may seem complicated but I will try to show it best I can with these pictures. once you have it in your hands you will understand what I mean by the ova shape snap ring. |
