Yes it is a sweet machine; it was designed and built in Germany by Mirko Maier. It unfortunately does not lend itself to the home hobbyist as it uses (not so typical for CNC) precision ground v-way's and most of the machine is built from ductile iron and very little aluminum.
He says "The fastest stable speed that I reached was 2000mm/min = 78,7 inch per minute. The only barrier was the computer. In theory with my power supply and output stage is approximately 6000mm/min = 236,2 inch per minute possible and will cut stainless with practically no vibration"
Which given the suspected weight, is probably a fact.
