Using rigid tapping on Fadals you dont need the floating tap holders.The machines are rated to rigid tap from 500-1500 rpm.I dont even use tap holders just normal collets really tight.Have tapped upto 16mm diameter ok.Make sure your fadal has rigid tapping as some of the old ones don't.If you want me to email you a rigid tapping program for a fadal no problem just mail me seperate.Regards Ciaran. |
