Free Software From KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Hello everyone,

Just want to let you know about some pretty cool intelligent point cloud evaluation software which is being freely distributed through the Manufacturing Excellence Control Group at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.

To access the software, go to http://www.infra.kth.se/geo/ and click on the Free Software MEC link on the left-hand side of the screen.

From there you can currently download Intelligent Sphere and Intelligent Plane evaluation modules, and in the near future, Circle, Line, Cylinder, Ellipse and Ellipsoid will also be available.

These modules are being distributed to demonstrate the speed, quality and robustness of Intelligent Decision Making Software and the tremendous impact it has on critical data evaluation tasks.

As I mentioned in the original post, the additional point cloud evaluation modules (line, cylinder, circle, ellipse, ellipsoid) are now available for download from the KTH website.

In addition to these new modules, a comprehensive beginners guide is also available for this Optimization, Regulation and Adjustment Technology.
