I have taken the plunge and purchased a Nextengine. I will have it Tuesday. I also ordered a CPU to run it. The CPU is a 2.4 GHZ duel core, and will come with 4 GB of DDR2 Ram. I will be posting scanned models if people are still interested. |

This is a scan from a 4.5" tall toy soldier. I have exported it as a stl file, to open in rhino. It should be noted that this is my second scan. The hardware (scanner) appears readily able to scan anything, I have more to learn about integrating the meshes into one mesh. I imagine that within a week or two, I will have better results. |
