Guys,
I've used something similar... not sure if it was from this company.. but I think it looks exactly the same. The only issue with these systems is in the adjustment of the rollers. I had two issues, the first being the tool to adjust the rollers had to be ordered separately (which was a pain that I didn't know about) and the second is that the sliders move differntly once under load... I ended up building my whole system and then having to take most of it apart to adjust the sliders so that everything would move how I wanted it to. I spent a whole night taking apart and putting the whole thing back together over and over again until it moved just right.
Since that time, I found a product from pacific bearing (
www.pacific-bearing.com) called redi-rail which has an adjustment on the side. They are the only company I know of which has this adjustment and I used this rail on the next gantry I build... it only took me about 10 minutes to set all of the preloads... and I was able to do it without having to disassemble anything. I just used a standard allen wrench (I was happy not to have to buy any special tools) to adjust some set screws.
By the way... the sales lady I spoke with last time at pacific was really nice... and when I told her that I had pricing from somewhere else that was a little cheaper (like $10 on a $300 order), she went ahead and matched the price! Pacific has an 800 number and you actually get to talk to a live person when you call. I hate calling those companies where you have to push 1 for this and 2 for that... only to get someone's voicemail that never calls you back!
Good luck
