I am not too worried about the support side of things as I intend to service the machine myself. I am currently building two cnc machines so the maintenance/repair side is not an issue. I am more looking towards getting a machine from
http://sh-cnc.en.alibaba.com in China instead of off ebay.
I am looking at making my own vacuum bed and can purchase reconditioned name brand vacuum pumps for cheaper here than importing one. Most of the other equipment like extraction etc is really quite simple to make.
