I have recently discovered that I have a dealer or reseller for these chinese machines and shop sabre both in driving distance of me. I want to take the 14 hr round trip some day soon and see both of these machines first hand.
we've discovered here that the chinese machine are good but I fear the no name parts on them and how to get them fixed or serviced.
If these resellers disapear or change names agian where will we be?
I have not ruled out Shop sabre or excitech and even they seem to only be a couple years old I have nothing but good to say about any of the companies I have talked to. Josh glenn from camaster even included his cell phone number in his e-mail and when I called him yesterday I think he was at lunch but he still say there and talked to me. That is how a lot of us smaller companies have to operate when we don't have a office full of operators. they all always the answer phone and know what they are talking about. shop sabre does have a lot of add ons that sky rocket the base price from there listed web site price. But I appreciate what they are trying to do you can buy a solid base and upgrade as you grow but I just wanta git a machine that I don't have to touch. Just send work to it.
I hoped to make this trip this week, but with thanks giving and shop sabre is not going to be open friday, it will have to wait a while. I have to double check with both companies and make sure they are going to be there.
I will let you all know, I feel these are both good but I want to see, feel and hear, and see on run before I can make a judgment.
and carvin that is a heck of a deal I'd love to see pictures of your rusted plastic gear machine and the new one to see what changes they have made to them over the last year or so.
