Got it guy on the other forum helped me work it out
here is a copy of part of the email
Z should be around 600 steps per. This is per milimeter. 30 IPM = 762mm per minute. This is 7,620 pulses per second or 7.62KHz
Y should be around 2500 steps per. This is per millimeter. 30 IPM = 762mm per minute. This is 31,750 pulses per second or 31.75 KHz
X should be around 378.940 steps per. This is per millimeter. 30 IPM = 762mm per minute. This is 4,812.538 pulses per second or 4.812 KHz.
Try it all slow, if these are any where close to right, you could try to go the settings page in Mach, just above the red stop button you will see a set steps per unit button. It should help you dial it in.
if he showed his work it might help some people setting up servos but I am not going to bug him about it
