This actually wasnts Sharps idea. For some reason no one knows what is going on. We have Sharp and Fanuc getting in contact with one another to put together a data card that we can load. It should change all of the M codes to something more standard. The spindle lock is actually the machine kicking into low gear for tool changes, and there is supposedly an M code to disable it, but I am not to sure about it. The M code to realign the turret is just a M code that rotates the turret to a specific pod, and allows the machine to place the tool from the spindle into the turret without it rotating to another pod. We are much more used to Daewoos, so I cant really give the best explination of whats going on. |
