chances are if you turn the machine off for any length of time, you will have the same problem. this is caused by the battery back-up on the memory board. your machines are probably '83 to '91 vintage MAX2 controls. the memory boards had a set of eproms with internal back-up. their life span is over and the boards need to be replaced or converted to the newer style eproms with external batteries. if you don't turn off the power, the machine should run just fine. ron |
