I'm only going to be engraving/cutting holes in 3mm aluminum.
Most of the inexpensive CNC router table use a dremel (bla) and I think I would kill it pretty fast. (I have already burned up two in my life!)

i agree a cnc router would be plenty for what you need to do and yes a dremel is mor appropriate for tiny job then cut out i would go with at least a edge trimmer

no problem i remembered that someone had posted about it a few month ago anyway most of those machine have about the same spec like mine with slight variation in the motor power as for them mt2 cone some will argue that you wont be able to insert as big of a end mill in as a r8 but i think that using any end mill over 1/2" in those machine is a bit over kill, the only problem is that your tooling wont be upgradable to a bigger machine in the optic that you plan on upgrading to a BP knee mill type eventualy, but most hobbyist and even for prototype work the tooling available for these type of cone is good
