Will you be doing precious metals also? 50 yrs ago I worked on a percussion stamping press for a guy who made Silver and gold commemorative coins. His hobs were made on a pantograph. What a different world it is. |
My dies were used in a coinage press (not sure of the brand of press) to strike the medals with about 150 tons of force.
I've already done some in silver. I'm planning an issue of five different copper sizes from 25mm to 38mm, three silver sizes, and two gold sizes. There will be five different (but similar) designs in all.
Here is the 38mm silver:
