So far I am very please with it, for the price I paid it has excellent spec’s comparable with a sX3 and nearly half the price. I can’t do a comparison on quality as I have never seen an X3 close up. I’m with you on the controller box but it will make no difference to the performance of the mill so it will do for me. The X3’s seem to have a good grip on the US market so I can’t see it being sold anytime soon over there. Maybe you could import one for your self direct
