I,m using an Intel centrino core2 duo 7200, Inspiron 6400 ,15 inch lcd. Its hooked up to a kill a watt meter and the battery is charging.
It reads 1 amp , 68 watts and .95KWH. There is no dvd drive running which would use more and I'm just using internet. Don't know what a desk top uses but i'd say it would use a lot more than a laptop. Hope someone can give you a desktop comparison . |
