Backlash.
This is just a question but why not aply a reverce pull at atll times.
Example...
Say your table has a wobly X. find a 5 or 10 lb waight tie a string to it thred the string through a single pully and hang the waight over the edge of the table. then tie the other side to the fare side of the X axes.... umm tie it befor ya actuily drop the waight.
Theres other ways of actuily doing this but this is the simplest.
This should keep a pull on the table at all times hins no backlash the nuts are constently being pulled aganst one side of the thred... I'll work up a drawing in 3dmax and anamate it .. Can we put anamated gif's here? |
