Basically, you attatch the waterblock to the CPU instead of your heatsink/fan, then water is run through it, via a small radiator (like a car's heater matrix) which cools the water down again. There are several types of waterblocks, for the cpu, graphics card, and the northbridge. Mostly used by overclockers due to their better cooling capacity, they also be used to run a virtually silent pc. |
