All parts are old, new, surplus, scrap and reused/recycled. I went
to eBay auctions, electrical surplus stores and aluminum suppliers
to get remnant tooling plate and various other odds and ends.
The main reasion it took 1.5 years building, I resized the XY for
a larger footprint. Had to offset the X to the rear of the machine
to get longer travel.
Persistence does payoff if the goal stays in focus.
