You can call Hurco technical support and let them know the serial number of the machine. And they can tell you the options it has or at least what it was sold with. Or if the machine is still under power you can turn it on press the Auxilliary button on the front pannel, Then press the System config button (F4), and then the Display Machine Specifications (F4). This should list the options on it now. Hey I do Hurco training and have my own manuals I have made for training. They are very lead you through by your nose. I use to be a Senior Applications Engineer for Hurco several years ago. You can reach me the quickes here or at gsilberberg@progressive-plastics.net Let me know what I can do to help you. I also do ball bar testing and programing on the side. Let me know what I can do for you. Oh I also have a VM2 in my shop. Just remember it's all fun and games till someone looses an eye. |
I'm not sure how to do any of that. I'll try and find out when I pick it up in a couple of weeks.
I do know that it has a tape drive eliminator device that allows you to load the master program from a PC via a serial port. Also I seem to remember that it's been upgraded with a 64K memory board. I have a feeling that came from cmcsystems, but I'm not sure.
I should have all the manuals tonight so I can start doing some reading.
