Jackson, we have 2 DMV 4020 Daewoo's w/ 10k spindles. We bought both mills new in 2002. We build injection molds. We do everything from roughing to hardmill finishing with both machines. We hav never had any kind of trouble with either spindle. Both machines have ceramic bearings. Often times we run at 10k for 36 to 48 hrs. straight.
About the only issues we have is the machine growth in the y axis. We just have to keep a close eye on our oil cooler settings, in order to minimize this. |
