Did some more testing...
Y backlash less than .0005"
X backlash less than .001"
Z backlash .003". I think I might have something loose there. I'll work on it tomorrow.
I'm having a table shield made. That will help keep the coolant off the saddle. The 3" vise from littlemachineshop is going to be a great fit.
As I am by myself, I bought an engine hoist to get it up on the stand. Waaaaay cheaper than a bad back
I'm going to cut the cables and insert some extension wires. Anyone have suggestions on the type of crimp connectors to use?
