Hi Everyone
Iam building a new Pen Plotter and to simplify things I would like to use two stepper motors for one of the axis rather then build some sort of mechanical linkage.
My biggest problem Iam running into is how to wire the two motors together Iam hoping someone here may have some options they might share with me. I was thinking of just wiring them in parallel but I dont think that will work I belive it would draw to much current. I also was thinking about using one of the other axis ports considering I have a fourth axis Iam not using but am not sure if there would be anyway of controlling both motors in the same axis with out having to modify the software somehow.
Well any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. Would it be possible to run two X axis motors maybe by using the fourth axis Iam just not sure how to go about doing it. Again thank you for any help.
