On a lathe Z- is toward the headstock, Z+ is away; X- is toward the centerline X+ is away. It does not matter whether the X guideways are behind, in front, above or below.
The TL should have some sample programs; run them in graphics they look just the same on the TL as they do on the SL.
It does not worry me if anyone claims this is not true until they are blue in the face. I develop programs on the TL and then transfer them to either an SL10, HL1 or GT20 and with the exception of editing for tool selection as I mentioned, they run identically. |
