As far as the toner method of PCB making goes its good yes but there is a MUCH MUCH better way. It will cost you about $30 but save you a lot of errors And you get even smaller traces made. Press-n-peel PCB transfer film, the type i use is the BLUE type. non wet.

Ya I've played with it, but as you agreed there is the cost factor. Thats why I'd love to get a bunch of guys togeather who know how to program. And start construction of an editor program which does it all.
