Drilled & tapped a 3/8-16 hole and inserted a bolt from the bottom. My stand is constructed so that I have access from the bottom and can turn the bolts as needed. I would have rather used fine thread but without using an insert it'd never happen in this material.
So...now we'll see if it's easier to square up!
