long term accuracy, your gonna need to replace the acme screws with ballscrews.
I don't really see any other fault in the mill.
You'll need to replace the gibs over time. The x/y gibs are nothing but strips. I'm unsure of the z-gib. I haven't taken that apart.
I wish there was slightly more travel on the x, but as it stands it's pretty good for having a square column. |
