The motor completely stalls no belt slip.
I thought it was a dull end mill but I switched to another one and same problem.
1/4hp motor.
I think it may have been because one of my splash deflectors broke and a small amount of coolant made its way into the motor, I am not certain though.
BTW are the x axis gib screws supposed to epoxied into the flanges? There is residue of something that looks like JB weld but mine are no longer glued together... |
Are you sure the endmill is centercutting? If not a plunge could certainly stall the motor. The motor is TEFC as far as I know so coolant shouldn't matter. The gib screws are not epoxied.
