I'm a relative newbie to CNC and just started working in Sheetcam, having formally relied on Mach 3 for G code ....so far, it seems like Sheetcam is more intuitive. When I export a file in dxf with a surface, such as a box, or the attached guitar body, the surface "splines" (such as the line going down the center of the guitar body in x & y) show up as a toolpath. Am I missing something?
I didn't have this problem with the Mach 3, but with Sheetcam it seems that all the surface lines show up as toolpaths.
