no you are not alone, i have been using milltronics for about 10 years. we have a 2003 ml14 lathe, a 1997 vk5 mill, and last year i bought a new rw15 because of the rebate. for the price it can't be beat. while milltronics doesn't have the big name or sales of other brands, i have found it to be highly productive. many complex jobs can be programed in a few minutes with the conversational software, and without a lot of head scratching. this makes it great for a tool shop or custom low production parts. in 32 years i have learned it is about getting the job done right and shipped as quick as possible, not about being the smartest boy on the block. these machines are often overlooked by shops due to the lack of any big time advertising. i have also found support to be great with virtually no limit on the length of phone calls to tech support. it is a great value. |
