I am in the process of constructing a controller with 4 X Picstep V4 boards. Because I will only use the 4th axis occasionally I would like to be able to disconnect the motor when it’s not in use. Can I just disable the board (remove the enable signal) and leave the board powered up, or should I remove all power to the board when the motor is not connected. |
