im using the mach demo , i have been using kcam but it seems it is getting confused by the number of steps or something because when i try to set the system timing the software locks up , i dont know how good kcam is with microstepping but it worked well for me in the past , on the other hand after farting around with the mach , i m leaning more toward the mach software , it has a nice face , more professional setup,i may try the linux emc to see how well that works , there aren t a lot of other good options out there |
