Porter cable 7519 speed control? | | Hi,
I've been thinking about buying a Porter cable 7519 router. It's the 220volt version I was interested in using. Porter cable gave me part no. 22-7519-60 and it's a special order through my local hardware store. This is a single speed version of the 7518. The 220volt armature coils enables it to run cooler or so the techie at Porter Cable said when I called about the part number.
Ok, I'm seriously interested in this router but want to know if any of you guys have managed to control the speed of this 3 & 1/4 horse power beast. Theres no feed back on it, I think? So I was thinking about a simple analogue control via current or preferably voltage say 0-10volts = full RPM. Is this possible? and what drive to use?
