I have heard of people taking Stepper Motors and the drivers for them out of used floppy disk drives.

So here is my question. What floppy drives have them and which ones don't? What does the driver look like? etc....


I just want something to play with. Kind of like just to make them rotate and stop and go the other way.

I am new to the CnC arena and i have no electronics training.

I would like to make me a CnC router someday and i gotta start somewhere.
